This week, I sat down with someone who isn’t.
Félix Lasarte is Trump’s personal attorney and a member of the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board. He’s been in the room — the actual room — where decisions get made, where strategy gets shaped, where the real conversations happen.
Not the press briefings. Not the tweets. The room.
And he came on Brutally Honest to talk about it.
We went deep. Iran. Israel. The way Trump processes power. The role ego plays — and where it ends and strategy begins. What the people around him actually think versus what they say publicly.
But here’s the question that got under my skin:
Does Donald Trump actually see himself as a messiah?
Not metaphorically. Not as a political brand. But genuinely — as someone chosen, destined, untouchable.
Because if he does — and Félix has a very specific answer to this — it explains a lot.
It’s the kind of conversation that doesn’t happen on cable news.
I’ll be honest — there were moments in this interview that surprised me.
